New Moon in Sagittarius Solar Eclipse: Whistling Past the Graveyard

If you've seen me, then you know my Sagittarius Moon. Much to the chagrin of my Virgo Sun, she likes our belly button and chooses outfits which allow it to be seen. She loves music and can be found shaking her ass in public somewhere. Yes. That's her. She is in cahoots with my Mercury Leo and they cuss. A lot. They love to tell slightly exaggerated stories with sexual overtones. They also love inappropriate jokes and don't care if you find their laughter unsettling.

Unfortunately for y'all, this Sagittarian Moon and eclipse is hitting her almost on the nose. I'm sorry. Well, not really. Because Sagittarian energy never regrets anything. It simply moves on.

We've had so much doom, gloom and darkness over the past few years. This Sagittarius Moon laughs in the face of it. It's no coincidence that Sagittarius season happens during the darkest time of the year and coincides with the Solstice celebrations. It's a celebration of life and a recognition that the darkness is where life begins. It's the knowledge that no matter how dark and cold it is now, the Sun will soon return.

Sagittarius energy embraces the darkness and knows that the Light shines brighter because of the dark. We're faced with an uncertain future but we know what we've learned and that we can't be kept down long. Eclipses open portals and this eclipse is giving us the opportunity for complete immersion into Sagittarian fearlessness. If we allow it, there's no telling where it will take us.

When you see me over the next few months and I'm being extra Sagittarian, laugh and dance with me. Keep in mind that I have no idea what I'm doing. None of us do. This extra boost of Sagittarian energy will give us just the edge we need to make the most out of our current circumstances.

Whistling past graveyards is one of my favorite things to do. Let's do it together. It'll be fun!
